About Us
Sailing Scotland is part of the Marine Blast group. A commercial organisation, Marine Blast, through its Marine Directory Scotland app has, over the last four years, become the biggest marine resource covering Scotland (1,700 members), Malin Waters (Northern Ireland, 90 members) and England and Wales (5,700 members). Our members represent all sectors of the boating industry, but to achieve the aspirational growth outlined in the Marine Tourism Strategy, we are taking the next step to develop a place, which provides an online resource and community.
Sailing Scotland is the umbrella organisation for four regional groups: Argyll; North West and Hebrides; Northern Isles and East Coast and Solway to Clyde. Each area has it’s own unique geography, sailing routes, events and challenges which will be administered by local marine professionals. From harbour authorities to event organisers and marina operators to sailmakers, these groups are designed to be organised and led by the industry itself.
